How to Add Prior Debt in Basefund

Step 1: Access Your Dashboard

After logging into Basefund, you'll land on your main dashboard. On the right-hand side, you'll find a list of your previously added clients.Simply click on a client's name to open their dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to the Debt Service Breakdown

Within the client dashboard, find the Debt Service Breakdown section and click the Details button.

Step 3: View Debt

You'll be taken to the All Debt Supported by All Funding Sources page. Here, click the View Debt button.

Step 4: Manage Debt

On the next screen, select the Manage Debt button. This will bring you to a page where you can add details about prior debts. Enter the necessary information and click Create to save your changes.

Step 5: Confirmation

Once the debt is created, you'll receive a confirmation message indicating that the debt service payments have been successfully updated.
