Step 1: Access the Dashboard
After logging into your Basefund account, locate the client you added on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 2: Select a Client
Click on the client’s name to open their dashboard.
Step 3: Navigate to Debt Service Breakdown
In the client dashboard, find the Debt Service Breakdown section. Click on the Details button as shown in the provided image.
Step 4: View Debt
You’ll be directed to the All Debt Supported by All Funding Sources page. On the right-hand side, select the View Debt option.
Step 5: Manage Debt
On the next page, click the Manage Debt button.
Step 6: Add Prior Debt Service
A pop-up titled Manage Debt will appear. From here, select Add Prior Debt Service.
Step 7: Add Debt Series
You’ll be directed to the Add Debt Series page for the specific client (e.g., Harlandale Independent School District). Select the option Does this series have multiple funding sources?
Step 8: Assign a Parent Series
From the drop-down menu, choose the appropriate parent series by selecting the new series option.
Step 9: Create the Series
Enter the Series Title and a Short Title, then click Create.
Step 10: Search for the Title
Once created, search for the title you just added.
Step 11: Complete the Details
Fill in all the necessary details based on the bond information and click Update to save your changes.
